Beverly Hills 90210 has made a fantastic comeback with the New WB Show simply titled 90210. The show has received good reviews and once again, the viewer is pulled in to the plots and lives of the students. Lives intertwined and experiences being shared dominate the storylines and create interaction that a lot of viewers wish were a part of their lives. One of the other things that the viewer enjoys seeing is the vehicles that their favorite character drives and dreams about what it would like to own a car like the 90210 cars.
Liam, the bad boy of the group is very much like Dylan from the old seasons of 90210. It is to be expected that with the cool demeanor and the aloofness that follows the mystique, that he would drive a cool car. The car of choice for Liam is an exciting 1969 Pontiac GTO in rebellious and overt orange. This car makes the girl want the guy and the guys have a love/hate relationship with the owner.
Naomi, the popular girl who has everything and the credit card with no limit to prove it, drives her own fabulous car. Pulling up at the school everyday she sits behind the steering wheel of a 2009 Mercedes ML. The color is white which is completely classic in every sense of the word. The car is sleek and shows that fashion and design are extremely important to the driver. In the instance of Naomi, that is an all consuming thought.
These two cars and their drivers set the tone for what the rest of the cast drives. These sleek and stylish cars run rampant over the school parking lot. We see the sophistication of the Mercedes Benz, to a Porsche that the lovely Silver drives. Each car fits the driver perfectly and mirrors their character. Throughout each season we see the characters love, hate, fight and connect in these cars. They are as much a part of the development of the show as the characters themselves. They set a tone and atmosphere that helps to define the quintessential Beverly Hills lifestyle and the drama that goes with it. Many watchers of the show aspire to have a lifestyle like this and hope to emulate what they see.
