Chevelle SS TV Commercial
The 1970 Chevelle SS was one of my favorite cars not because of it’s sleek styling or the cool hood pins but because of the sound of the humming 396 and the tight handling.
I actually remember this commercial and those outrageous hairdo’s and clothes.
The muscle cars of the late 1960 and early 1970′s were some of the best vehicles ever created. Unfortunately, the gas crunch of the middle 70′s and the increase in pollution meant the end of the muscle car reign. Not the end of the muscle car, just the end of it’s reign.
Today the muscle cars of the last century have become highly valued collector vehicles and one of the “coolest” cars in movies and current TV shows.
