From 1967 until 1987 the kid’s soap opera that was Speed Racer delighted kids and confused parents everywhere. From the really cool race cars to the intrigue, Speed Racer was the ultimate cool kid and geek at the same time, but the star of the show was most definitely the Mach Five and the coolest driver was most definitely Racer X.
