The Ultimate Yuppy Car…

If the late 1960’s and the 1970’s were the age of the Muscle Cars, than the 1980’s was definitely the age of the Yuppy Cars.

TV Shows like Cheers and ThirtySomething featured characters that fit the mold of the classic Yuppy including possession and constant references to their “beemers”.

For you “youngsters” out there, a Yuppy was the hip term for the new Hippy of the 1980’s. This Hippy was very different from their 1960’s parents. They were young and upwardly mobile. Success was their new mantra and success meant having the right toys including the all important ultimate yuppy car, the BMW.
