Back to the 70’s Cars – 1972 Ford Torino

When I was little, my father and my uncle would work on cars in our garage on the weekends.

The only time I would see my father would be when I wandered in there to see what they were doing. My father told me that he was working on this 2 door, 1972 Ford Torino with a 429 cu in “Cobra-Jet” engine. I remember it not looking so good while it was in the garage, but my father said that it originally was black with this wide yellow strip on each side of the car.

He said that it was one of the original muscle cars of the 70’s. They spent hours either searching for used ford parts or working on the Torino.
