I remember being a teenager and seeing the first car I ever fell in love with. It was on a television show and the guys that drove it around made the car look really cool. I begged my father to get one and he told me that he thought it was a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 hard top. I’m not sure about all that, but I liked the way it looked and I liked that it was red with fat white stripes on the hood. My dad told me that it would cost too much for us because it was a little over $3,000.00 and we didn’t have the money.
If only we had bought that car back when it was only $3,000. The used Chevrolet parts would be worth far more than that now..
